Exclusively for annual fund donors, Hartford Stage's Technical/Dress Rehearsals provide a fascinating and intimate look into the creative process as director, cast and crew put finishing touches on MainStage productions two days before the first public performance. These events are open at least five times each season to donors of $100 or more, and $50 donors are invited to at least one.
Begin the evening with a drink in the lobby while you enjoy an insider's talk on the play by a member of the artistic team. Then sit in on approximately 90 minutes of rehearsal. Since the show is truly a work-in-progress, you never know what to expect!
