The primary focus of an apprenticeship is career training. The Apprenticeship is a full-time commitment for the duration of a season (specific duration may vary by position) for the purpose of professional experience in a field, craft or vocation. The position is similar to a highly supervised employee of the theatre and is viewed as an entry into the profession. While there is an educational component to an apprenticeship, the apprentice is considered a full member of the department’s team.
Apprentice positions are available for the 2008-2009 Season include Artistic, Education (Arts Administration or Teaching), Scenic Arts, and Costume Shop.
