Bring the whole family to this heartwarming holiday classic!

Five actors and one sound effects artist have assembled on Christmas Eve to guide audiences through the world of George Bailey and Bedford Falls, live from the studio at WBFR. The spirit of imagination takes hold as we’re launched on a transformational journey on stage. Join us this winter to experience a magical adaptation of a beloved story.

About The Story

It’s a Wonderful Life tells the story of George Bailey, a young man who dreams of one day leaving his hometown of Bedford Falls to adventure around the world. When circumstances keep George from pursuing his fortunes elsewhere, he finds himself increasingly frustrated with small-town life and his responsibilities. On Christmas Eve, through the intervention of an affable angel who is angling to get his wings, George is given the rare opportunity to see how the world would be a very different place had he never been born.

Life happens — and we’re gifting you a free, flexible exchange policy this holiday season.

Subscribers enjoy the benefit of unlimited free exchanges all year, and this holiday season, we’d like to invite you to experience that too!
Book your tickets today and rest easy knowing that if anything comes up, we’ll help you find another date to come see the show so you don’t have to miss out on this festive winter event.

Note: Waived ticket fee only applies to another It’s a Wonderful Life performance. Tickets can be exchanged for another show in the season, but a $10 exchange fee applies. If upgrading to a different pricing zone, the price difference will be added to your balance.

A note about A Christmas Carol: We are delighted to bring back our acclaimed production of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. Hampered last season by the intense surge in the Omicron variant, our hope is to give more audiences the opportunity to see this delightful holiday show. We plan to return to A Christmas Carol in the future as we love offering this beloved holiday classic to Hartford audiences.
