Join us at Hartford Stage for a behind-the-scenes look at all that we do on our stage and in the community! Whether this is your first or hundredth time at the theater, you’ll discover something or someone new. 

ACTIVITY SCHEDULE

 

12:00PM – 2:30PM

Backstage Tours

  • Tours starting approximately every 15 minutes.
  • Actor Dressing Rooms and Costume Shop require the use of stairs.
  • One bilingual (Spanish & English) language tour will be available around 1PM.

Mini Youth Theater Workshops

 Meet some of our fabulous Teaching Artists and experience a taste of our Youth Theatre classes. Workshops will be appropriate for ages 5-8 and 9+ and begin approximately every 30 minutes.

12:10: Character Catwalks (ages 5-8)

12:35: Pantomime and Tableaux (ages 9+)

1:00: Props and Costumes (ages 5-8)

1:25: Character Creation (ages 9+)

1:50: Pantomime and Tableaux (ages 5-8)

2:15: Improv (ages 9+)

Parking is available at the MAT Garage next to the theatre. Pay just $7 (cash only) as you enter the Garage. If you do not have cash on arrival, you will be charged the full rate upon exit. Street parking in downtown Hartford will also be free this Saturday.
