Teen Musical featuring Chicago: Teen Edition
Teens gain hands-on musical theatre experience as they rehearse and perform Chicago: Teen Edition. Performances will take place at the prestigious Hartford Stage in downtown Hartford. Guided by industry professionals, students will refine their acting, vocal, and dance skills while gaining firsthand experience in the world of musical theatre. In addition to rehearsals, participants will take part in enriching theatre craft classes that deepen their understanding of stage production and performance. Students will also enjoy a trip to New York to see a Broadway show (Death Becomes Her), included in the cost of the program.

Youth Ensemble featuring The Music Man, Jr.
This program gives students the chance to bring The Music Man, Jr to life on stage. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, they’ll spend their mornings rehearsing vocals, choreography, and scenes—building confidence and teamwork along the way. Afternoons offer a choice of engaging elective classes, allowing each student to explore new interests and develop a well-rounded set of performing arts skills. Students will also enjoy a trip to New York to see a Broadway show (Death Becomes Her*), included in the cost of the program. (*This show is recommended for ages 12+. An alternate local show will be offered.)

Technical Theater Track
Students spend their mornings learning about the design and craft of backstage production—exploring scenic painting, props, costumes, and more. Afternoon electives allow them to personalize their experience and develop skills in areas that spark their interest. Students also gain real-world experience by joining the crew for our One Act, Junior Troupe, and Youth Ensemble performances—applying what they’ve learned in a supportive, hands-on environment. Students will also enjoy a trip to New York to see a Broadway show (Death Becomes Her), included in the cost of the program.

Students experience the thrill of live theatre working on a production of The Addams Family: Younger @ Part. Children’s Cast

Day Dreamers
