Getting Here

Hartford Stage is located right in the heart of downtown. All routes are in Google Maps, so it’s a great way to plan your trip! Just enter your starting address and travel date/time for transit directions to Hartford Stage.

From Springfield

  1. Take I-91 South
  2. Take exit 32B, turn left onto Market Street
  3. Turn right onto US-44 W/Morgan St
  4. Turn left onto Main Street
  5. Turn right onto Church Street, the theatre will be on your right

From New Haven

  1. Take I-91 North
  2. Take exit 29A toward the Capitol Area
  3. Merge onto the Colin Whitehead Hwy
  4. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto Wells Street
  5. Take a slight left on Trumbull Street
  6. Take the 2nd right to stay on Trumbull Street
  7. Turn right onto Church Street, the theatre will be on your left

From Eastern Connecticut

  1. Take 384 West to 84 West
  2. Take exit 50 for Downtown Hartford
  3. Turn left onto Main Street
  4. Turn right onto Church Street, the theatre will be on your right

From Western Connecticut (Waterbury)

  1. Take 84 East
  2. Take exit 49 toward Ann Uccello Street
  3. Turn right onto Trumbull Street
  4. Take the first left onto Church Street, the theatre will be on your left

From Union Station (via Amtrak)

  1. Head north on Union Place toward Allyn Street
  2. Turn right onto Allyn Street
  3. Turn left onto Ann Uccello Street
  4. Turn right onto Church Street
  5. Hartford Stage will be on your right after Trumbull Street
