The Mousetrap

October 13 – November 6, 2022

By Agatha Christie

Directed by Jackson Gay

Check in for a most memorable
stay at Monkswell Manor…

It’s a freezing night in 1952 and a motley group of strangers find themselves suddenly trapped in an inn. As the snow falls, the body count rises — and the suspect list only seems to grow, as clues and possible motives are revealed at every turn. With intrigue, mystery, murder, and a dash of humor, this snowy getaway unfolds into a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

RUN TIME:
Approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes.

PLEASE NOTE:
There will be a non-firing prop weapon used in this production.

A note written by Artistic Director Melia Bensussen that reads: I have always loved murder mysteries, and am eager to have you join us at Monkswell Manor, to be let in on one of the best-kept mysteries in world literature. We won’t make you sign an NDA upon arrival, but will ask you not to share the surprises the production has in store. With 8 suspects, 1 killer, and a revelation hiding behind every corner – I cannot think of a better theatrical way to kick off our 2022-2023 season. If you love the movie CLUE, or our productions of MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS or THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY, this one is waiting for you to solve too – and I hope you will get your tickets as soon as possible so that you will be the first to know the secret.
